When I was 16 I got my first digital camera. It was a Christmas gift from my mom and a 2 pixel camera. I was mostly taking pictures of my friends. I bought my first professional digital camera as I was interested in journalism. I immediately started to focus my work on people.
All my degrees in photography, journalism and history taught me a lot about photography because it made me understand it was not about how to take a picture, it was about how to understand a situation to tell a story.
I now am a freelance photographer for newspapers and magazine in France. I also teach a multimedia class for a masters degree at the University of Burgundy (France).
I live between Dijon, Detroit and D.C.
